My name Rodrigo Serrano.
Since 2010, I run Dékuple's business in Spain and Portugal. It's been quite a ride – we've grown our Spanish operation tenfold and turned it into a consistently profitable venture. Before this, I spent 10 years at McKinsey & Co., solving problems for big companies, mostly in tech and utilities.
I'm an engineer at heart (topped my class in telecom engineering at U. Politécnica de Madrid), with an MBA from MIT. This mix of technical know-how and business sense has been crucial in my career.
In my current role, I've had to wear many hats – creating new products and services, reshaping our management team, boosting our tech capabilities, and streamlining our processes. We've built some cool IT platforms for running promotional and loyalty campaigns that all of us at Dékuple are quite proud of.
Through this blog, I want to share what I've learned about running a business, keeping up with tech, and most importantly, working with people. It won't be all success stories – I'll share the stumbles too, because that's where the real learning happens.
